After our debut at CSIO Barcelona at the Real Club de Polo, we continued our educational work at the same venue on the occasion of the EuroHockey League, where the youngest visitors enjoyed a new activity at the ECOTIC tent, located in the tournament’s village area. On this occasion, the children who visited the space could bring a used can, crush it, and try to score a goal with it in a goal specially set up for the activity.
In addition, participants registered via a QR code and entered a raffle to win Real Clubde Polo de Barcelona T-shirts. The goal was to encourage beverage can recycling in a fun and practical way, integrating sustainability into the sports and family context. “We want at least 90% of the cans and bottles consumed during the tournament to be recycled.” “Each goal is one step closer to a more responsible planet.”
With these actions, we reinforce our commitment to environmental education and the circular economy, showing that recycling can also be a game, and that learning to separate waste correctly is the first step towards a more sustainable future.
