On September 14th, Seville hosted the Ruta 091 charity race, organized by the National Police, which brought together more than 1,000 participants including adults and children. All proceeds raised were donated to ANDEX (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of Andalusia), reinforcing the solidarity behind the initiative.
At ECOTIC, we participated as sponsors of the event, committed to ensuring the proper collection and responsible management of waste generated during the day. Our goal: to reduce the environmental impact of this type of event and to demonstrate that sports and sustainability can go hand in hand.
The race, which started in the emblematic Plaza de España, included a 600-meter children’s run and a 5,091-meter course for adults. Beyond the athletic effort, the day stood out for its solidary, family-friendly, and environmentally responsible atmosphere.
