At ECOTIC Envases<\/strong>, as an official sponsor of the Hyundai Mitja Marat\u00f3 by Brooks in Barcelona, we have contributed to strengthening the sustainability commitment of one of the leading events on the national and international athletics calendar, which brought together 36,000 runners in this edition.<\/p>\n\n

During the race, we set up recycling areas at refreshment stations, enabling the 36,000 participants and thousands of spectators to properly separate the waste generated. The strong engagement shown throughout the event confirms that sport is an ideal platform to promote responsible habits and move towards a more circular model. <\/p>\n\n

Throughout the course, our awareness messages encouraged both runners and spectators to actively participate in recycling the packaging used during the event. Every small action counts, and this initiative has allowed us to bring the circular economy concept to a large-scale sporting event with significant social impact. <\/p>\n\n

As stated by Jordi Juli\u00e1n, Director of Business Development at ECOTIC Envases, \u201cbeing part of the Hyundai Mitja Marat\u00f3 by Brooks has enabled us to demonstrate that proper packaging management is also achievable at major events and that everyone\u2019s collaboration is essential to make it happen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n
